Why book a glamping break with Canopy & Stars?

We’re a varied bunch of people from all over the place. We come from the north, the east, the west, and a lot from the south. We come from different backgrounds, and different jobs, and all have rather different interests. But we all share the same beliefs, we believe in the transformative power of travel, the importance of people, and the value there is in our wild spaces.

About glamping in Suffolk

Who are we? We’re not just a glamping company, we’re the glamping company. Pioneering the glamping world since 2010, we’re an independent travel company, that’s part family and employee owned, and part charitable trust. We love championing the outdoors, sharing our experiences and inspiring others to find value in the wild wherever they can find it.

Why book a glamping break in Suffolk? We have everything along the scale of glamping, from the rustic minimalism of a down-to-earth, no-frills adventurer’s dream space to a high-end luxury stay with all the hot tubs and outdoor baths you could want. Our collection is varied, exciting, different, and special and best of all, we inspect every single one, so you know when you book, we’ve been there, loved it, and think you will too.

Are you climate conscious? Very. As it happens, 24% of our company is owned by a charitable trust that donates money towards various organisations and charities dealing with climate concerns. Our collection is made up of a lot of spaces that favour a low-impact model, some with PV panels, some with geothermal energy, others with reclaimed materials, or renewable sources.

Glamping in Suffolk with us Fancy learning to make bread whilst you’re away? Ever stayed in a two-storey tent? What about a Victorian railway carriage, a gypsy wagon or a lakeside lodge? We’re pretty sure you’ve never been in a woodland sauna, or had a massage on the deck of a safari tent and you’ve really, definitely never used a bat detector in an ex-fairground wagon. Well, there’s all that and more in store – and it’s really just a few clicks away.
