What to do with your dog in Somerset Take your dog on wild walks in the Mendip Hills, play on the huge curve of sand at Brean Beach and climb Glastonbury Tor together for views over the Somerset Levels. There’s never a dull moment for active hounds in Somerset, but more mellow pups are equally well catered for with trips on the West Somerset Heritage Railway and dog-friendly cafés and pubs around every corner.
