Who we are Canopy & Stars is a small, independent travel company on a mission to improve the relationship between travel and the environment, not just by promoting our sustainable treehouse stays, but with campaigning for and funding of environmental projects. In 2018, we established a Charitable Trust that uses its share of profits to support organisations that are fighting to stop climate disaster. Read more about that and our other work here.

Why chose glamping? Quite simply, glamping is good for you and the environment. Our owners love their land and want to preserve it by building low-impact places to stay, so you get to support them and preserve nature while you have a lovely time in a treehouse with a hot tub in the Lake District! You can also travel less when you go glamping, because you can disappear into another world with only a short drive.

Our treehouses Our treehouses run from swinging spherical treepods to chic square apartments and tubular multi-storey constructions. What we look for is individuality and flair. Of course they need to have good beds and everything you need, this is treehouse glamping after all, but we want you to be blown away the moment you climb up, and for a little part of you to never really come back down.

We care about responsible travel We are always looking to reduce our own impact and use our platform to encourage responsible travel among our owners, our guests and the wider industry. We are committed to several ambitious goals, including carbon neutrality by 2030 and equality of access to nature.
